*Sigh*....wrecking the one little slice of the internet i had where i felt normal around other socially-awkward people.

Am I the only one who’s a little optimistic about Yahoo purchasing Tumblr? 

I’m not very familiar with this god-awful track record Yahoo has with other companies it has acquired but i think if it was willing to invest $1.1 BILLION in one of the leading blog sites on the internet today, there must be some pretty cool features that are in the works. 

I don’t think Yahoo would try to reinvent the wheel. They probably have/had a team of analysts studying what components of Tumblr contributed to it’s popularity. 

I really don’t think they’ll screw up the good thing we have going here. If anything, they could really put money towards the technical end and enhancing the servers so we all don’t freak out every time Tumblr goes down.

Dammit, my inbox is fucking up…

Is this happening for anyone else? i can’t answer questions in it.
