FITNESS RANT: I’m almost 7 months into my bulking phase and i’m now up to 160+ lbs towards my goal weight of 200. 160 feels pretty nice, considering when i first moved to Virginia i was about 135 almost 2 years ago. Now, I have people telling me I look fine the way I am and I look bigger than I actually weigh. I’m still not stopping til I hit my goal. I’m doing this for skinny-14-year-old Joey who was just 120lbs & never felt good enough. He needs see that he is stronger than anyone else may think.

For anyone concerned or wondering why i’m choosing to do this it’s because i want to. I’m so unbelievably tired of being slim. I’ve been skinny since as early as i can remember my first memories. I just need to change. I don’t want to accept myself now because i know that i can be molded into something better…so why settle?? I’m also doing this for my dad who’d frequently criticize my size. I’m doing this for all the girls at Paul Revere and Pali who passed me up because they didn’t find me attractive enough. I’m doing this for my girlfriend so she can be even more proud when we’re out in public. But most importantly, i’m doing this for myself; my own confidence and happiness.

So, in closing, i appreciate those of you who are concerned and i appreciate those of you who’ve shown support. This transition feels incredible and i’m happy to see that friends are noticing changes that the younger me wishes he had back then.

Admitting weakness is seen as an even greater weakness
Being called a sexual deviant or a pervert because you were expressing your sexuality
A girl beating you in any physical competition makes you inferior
Being superficial makes you a pig but a woman being superficial is fine
Makeup isn't even an option
Not living up to the insanely unrealistic ideal of manhood automatically makes you gay
Being gay is seen as weak
You can't control the size of your "manhood"
